El proyecto se ubica en un lugar característico de la población con alto nivel histórico, en el que las construcciones existentes no habían sido construidas respetando el entorno. Es por ello que se decide derruir la vivienda en peor estado y excavar su huella para que la galería quede enterrada y permita crear en su cubierta una zona de mirador. Así el proyecto cuida los espacios exteriores, y aumenta a la vez que mejora el interés social y cultural de esta zona del municipio.

 

El recorrido forma parte de la experiencia de la visita. Las ruinas recuperadas ayudan al visitante a adentrarse en la cultura de la ciudad. Durante este recorrido puede observarse la torre desde diferentes puntos de vista, el cual finaliza con la visita al interior del monumento. El esquema de la galería es simple y funcional con el que se pretende potenciar la direccionalidad del proyecto.

The project is located in a characteristic place of the population with a high historical level. The existing constructions had not been built respecting the surroundings. It is decided to demolish the house in the worst state and excavate its footprint. The new gallery take up this buried area and allows to create on its deck a viewing area. By the way, the project takes care of the exterior spaces, and increases the social and cultural interest of this neighborhood of Sot de Chera.

 

The itinerary is part of the experience of the visit. The recovered ruins help the visitor to enter in the culture of the city. During this tour you can see the tower from different points of view, which ends with the visit inside the monument. The scheme of the gallery is simple and functional, intending to enhance the directionality of the project.
